EXP aims to create an open and vibrant community where dancers of all levels can come together to experiment with their craft, learn from one another, and grow. We wish to instill in our members the confidence to express one's self more freely and meaningfully, whether that be through choreography or freestyle.

Cinematic Arts and Production Club is the most production-driven film club at UC Berkeley. We focus solely on film production and strive to produce the highest quality movies on campus. CAP Club meets often and regularly throughout each semester to work on movie projects from start to finish. Organization structure is similar to a real film production company, and we welcome a large variety of people who have unique skill sets, such as screenplay writers, cinematographers, video editors, film score composers, actors, marketers, producers, directors, etc.
Another big influence on waacking was Hollywood, whereby dancers took inspiration stylistically from movie stars such as Lauren Bacall, Marlene Dietrich, Bette Davis and James Dean.[1] These inspirations manifested themselves not only through the movements and poses but also through other aspects of the dance such as dress styles and facial expressions.
The Film Club is responsible for selecting the weekend movies, which are current films shown on campus free-of-charge each weekend of the term. They showcase popular, classic, foreign, multicultural and fine art forms at events such as dinner and discussions.
Dedicated to the exuberance and passion of Latin culture, Pulso Latino aims to attract a multitude of dancers, regardless of ethnicity. Members will be given the opportunity to both audition for and choreograph individual pieces, which are performed at the end of each semester and during special events. Additionally, professionally instructed classes or workshops will be offered to aid the creative process, as night-clubs tend to challenge dancers differently than choreographed routines performed before an audience. Members will participate in volunteer activities involving latin dance in the surrounding community at least once per semester.
TwisT is the BiCo's first club that brings together students whose special interests include but not limited to drumming, storytelling and free-styling. Just as the name suggests, the club operates solely on flexibility. Its core mission is to make all activities enjoyable for all its members.
The Anime Club provides a comfortable space for Bryn Mawr community members who enjoy anime (Japanese animation) to relax and meet other people on campus with the same hobbies. The club holds weekly meetings to watch, discuss, and learn about anime, runs events such as movie nights and club outings, and organizes a yearly trip to a nearby anime convention.
The purpose of this club is to connect gluten-free students via activities like gluten-free movie nights and bakery trips, share lifestyle tips and experiences, cook and bake together, and if members are interested, to advocate for more inclusive dining options.
Our club introduces members of the Bryn Mawr community to the world of sustainable fashion. Members can learn different upcycling techniques, participate in a sustainable fashion book club, come to movie nights, join us on volunteering trips to FABSCRAP in Philadelphia (free fabric!) and develop a unique sense of personal style. We'd love to have you join us!

Updated on February 4th, 2021 by Kristen Palamara: Movies about different types of dance styles from hip-hop to ballet and the engaging choreography adds to the plotline and typically relatable and entertaining characters. Movies about dancing are a particular type of genre that usually add drama and romance to the plot along with impressive dancing skills and a great soundtrack. Netflix has made some original movies about characters in the dancing world either after school trying to make it as dancers or in high school trying to find various competitions, and Netflix also streams several other dance movies worth checking out.
