I bet you’re dying to find out what happens to Dill, the brave little boy who rescues a terrorized town from an evil witch. Uh oh. I told you not to watch this movie! It’s much better if you don’t know how it ends because then you won’t miss any of the amazing action, suspenseful reveals, or final twists that are sure to make your heart race until the end credits roll. Now go ahead and continue watching this movie without knowing what it will bring. You don't have anything else important going on that would require your immediate attention anyway, right? Ok, now that we've given warning... let's get to the review of this film... "Diler the Daring" is a fairy tale adventure film set in medieval times. The story centers upon Diler, a very brave young boy with an exceptional talent for sword fighting. He is sent to deliver a package to the King that has been entrusted to him by his dying father. Unfortunately, he gets separated from his home and ends up in town where he faces various challenges that lead him on an unforgettable journey. A few noteworthy things about this movie... --The hero of this movie is named "Dil". I don't know why I find it so humorous that a hero's name is literally just the first letter of the first syllable in his last name. --This movie contains a musical number as its final emotional touchstone. This very well executed song "How Will I Know" was sung to perfection by its actors, and it does an excellent job of building up all of the world building and plot points leading up to it. --The box office performance for this movie was pretty good, considering it's a film that is aimed at very specific audience demographics (Young Adults) and also a film that is not necessarily well known or popular. --The inhabitants of this town are all portrayed as being very distrusting, cynical people who have extremely short tempered attitudes. I suppose it's because being so distrustful of others is what one learns to do in a world where the population is so confined by their own personal boundaries. --I love how this movie has such a dark and creepy vibe to it with such a light tone and comedy. It's like two different worlds were combined with such different styles of filmmaking. --The villain of this film is a witch-like figure who is trying to get her very angry and angry looking cat to maim Diler while he's trying to deliver her package. I guess she was trying to get her revenge on him for something that had happened in the past. --Everyone in this movie speaks in a very stiff and formal tone, which makes them seem very serious and very angry. Also, it's sort of creepy when they do the "action" symbol shooting their fingers at each other from across the room.
