EZdrummer 2 costs 99$149, with an upgrade price for existing EZdrummer users of 57$89. Also, anyone who bought EZdrummer after March 13th, 2014 gets a free upgrade (download only) added to their account. The original EZdrummer will remain on sale only as long as boxed copies last in the stores, and of course these can be upgraded free of charge.
In fact, I like it all so much just as it is that I too was slightly worried when I learned that there was an EZdrummer 2 on the horizon. All too many software products seem to reach a state of perfect refinement and adaptation, only to be ruined by ill-conceived 'all-singing, all-dancing' updates that render them less well targeted and less usable for any form of serious work (Logic X springs readily to mind as a recent example).

If you only wish to use a few samples for different sounding drums, you can just work on a single computer or laptop and will not need a lot of RAM to do so (at least 16GB is recommended but 8GB will suffice for less intensive usage).
This also acts as a loop editor by switching the loop function on and you can edit in real-time how the loop will sound (for example, you may trim the audio so it only plays and loops the first half of the sample rather than including an audio tail).
SD3 and EZDrummer are the only ones that have bleed through all the other mics, except a few of the others have bleed of an instruments through other mics. When a guy hits a snare in most sample pacs, it goes through one or two mics. When you set it up so, and a guy hits a snare, it goes through ALL the mics. BIG difference in sound.
I only use drum romplers for demos and idea generation. Once I have laid down the foundations of a track, I send it over to a real drummer to do their thing, which more often than not, ends up being wildly different from what I programmed in in the first place!

Hello there, this is a piece mainly to showcase a Chapman trumpet vst by Embertone. I had a hard time finding a suitable midi solo. I think this one did the job. I know there are a few trumpet and wind controller players out there that might like this instrument, only catch is that has to be used with a Kontakt full version player.
This is a song that I had pretty much complete late last year, including lyrics and vocal. I wasn't happy with either so I asked Marty (on the forum here as BabuMusic) if he would like to take a crack at it, and this is the result.
