For a next-level wall art visualizer, Wallary is just that. It uses augmented reality to visualize the photo on your wall in real-time. You can upload your art and Wallary will prompt you to scan your room. And voila! You can move your camera around to see the art from different angles, and your phone screen will display your room as if it already has the art hanging on the wall.

Since its introduction in 2001, SPW911 has become the leading sheet pile design software and an indispensable tool for the analysis of sheet pile walls by classical methods. You, our users, have given your response, and now SPW911 is better than ever. SPW911 is sheet pile design software used for the analysis of modeling the shoring of excavations in stratified soil using sheet pile walls. Calculation methods are based on the British Steel Piling Handbook and the US Steel Sheet Piling Design Manual.

We are currently running SPW911 at version 2.4, which is fully compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 on both 32 and 64 bit operating systems. We have standalone single users licenses and offer a network server license. The SPW911 network version can be managed on a network with a specified number of simultaneous users on the network. The copy protection is managed by a program, CMNET, which must be downloaded and installed on a server, or any station on the network.

With cantilever walls, safety factors can be dealt with in several ways. One of these is to divide the passive earth pressure coefficients by a reduction factors (typically 1.5 to 2.0.) The other way is to compute the equilibrium condition for summation of forces and then add toe length. SPW 911 uses the latter approach. If you want to reduce the passive earth pressure coefficient, you can do so directly in the soils page.

It is recommended that a minimum standard surcharge of 10kN/m&Mac178; be applied to the surface of the retained soil in the design of all retaining walls (Ref: BS 8002: 1994). This is the default in SPW911, but the value may be changed in the Excavation page of the define box. Additional loading due to vehicle movement, foundations, etc can be modelled by increasing the standard surcharge.

SPW 911 is suitable for designing braced cofferdams, as it allows the use of Terzaghi and Peck wall pressure profiles. It does allow a water differential but does not allow the use of empirical pressure diagrams. In designing braced cofferdams, however, keep in mind that SPW 911 does not compute base stability; this must be checked separately. Also, SPW 911 assumes that the wall pressure at the excavation level are continued below the excavation line. In the case of stiff clays, this means zero on the soil side of the excavation. If this is not desirable, an alternate method of computation can be found in NAVFAC DM 7.02. More information on Terzaghi pressure profiles and their application can be found in the Sheet Pile Design by Pile Buck.

When more than one support is present, the toe and load on the lowest frame are found by considering the lowest span as a singly supported wall. Loads on the frames above the lowest are found using the current load model. The load model can be by a) Area Distribution (as described in the Sheet Pile Design by Pile Buck) or b) the Hinge Method. The method used is selected in the Supports page of the box.

By using the Application, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Application should only be used by experienced designers. As a user, you areresponsible for assuring the accuracy of your input to the Application. All output should be reviewed for accuracy by a qualified design professional before product use.The Application's product selection must include a thorough review of the latest version of the Simpson catalog and website to insure appropriate selection and productapplication.

The Simpson Strong-Tie Site-Built Shearwall Designer web application was created to facilitate the design of Site-Built, Engineered, Wood Shearwalls. The web app performs a technical analysis that provides actual drift, uplift values and post compression for a wind or seismic lateral load.

The Strong-Wall analysis also considers simultaneous, vertically applied loads such as Dead, Live, Live Roof, Snow, Rain, Wind Uplift; acting in a uniform manner across the wall or as a series of point loads, or both. In addition, the Designer has the ability to account for other sources of Vertical Displacement due to Rod Elongation, Wood Shrinkage, or other.

Open one of the many professional floor plan templates or examples to get started. Add furniture, walls, doors, and windows from the extensive library of symbols and see how easy everything snaps into place.

You'll find thousands of ready-made symbols for fixtures, furniture, wiring, plumbing, and more are ready to be stamped and dropped on your home map. SmartDraw also includes many photo-realistic textures for flooring, counters and walls that can take your design to the next level.

The wizard guides the user to consider and enter design data in a friendly logical sequence. Modifications can be made out of sequence to optimise the design and respond easily to changes. All common wall types are supported. Choose single skin or cavity walls and define whether plain, piered, fin or a diaphragm wall construction is required.

Select wall ties from the built-in library and specify their spacing for edge supports, pier/web to wall connections as well as cavity ties. Automatic checking of selection against the relevant shear reactions and load transfer across the cavity.

Take advantage of the ability to input uniform axial and eccentric vertical dead, imposed and wind loads. A check on the vertical load capacity taking into account the effect of any co-existent lateral loads is included. Allowance is made for the increased vertical load intensity on lengths of wall between internal openings.

Regardless of the type of space you need to manage, Modernfold can find the solutions you need quickly and easily. Simply select the desired product information from the table below and follow the prompt from left to right. Your desired, downloadable files will appear in the field(s) below the prompt boxes.

Do you offer a software module that handles the cantilever of the likes of a small portal leg, where lateral restraint is offered at the concrete floor level and the pile or leg of the portal is in timber or steel as a limited height retaining wall with regular centre distances between regular cantilever column piles that are placed with sheathing between then. These column/pile are placed into an augured larger concrete bored pile base of a greater diameter as a composite section below the ground level that is often tied at the concrete floor. Like wise for smaller portals legs that are only cantilevered below the ground in concrete perhaps with a predetermined fixed end moment at the floor level which is needed to be resisted from the soil below.

The free kitchenplanner.net online planner is a 3D online kitchen planner that can help you with your kitchen planning. The kitchen planner is an easy-to-use software that runs smoothly on your computer without downloading.

You can make your kitchen dream come true with the versatile selection of kitchen furniture: When it comes to kitchen furniture, the base units are available in two cabinet heights, the tall units in four heights and the wall units or wall units in four heights. In addition, there are equipment cabinets, such as tall cabinets for a refrigerator or an oven, sink and hob cabinets; but also stainless steel refrigerators are available as standalone units.

In addition, you can use our buttons to contact a dealer in your area: Ask your kitchen designer questions about a kitchen professional in your area, make an appointment with one in your area or request an offer for your kitchen planning.

However, while researching civil/structural engineering programs in the Midwest and Northeast last week (for our Structural Engineering/Architecture Student Scholarship program), I was disappointed to find that only about a quarter of the top engineering programs offer a wood design course. So I thought it might be helpful to post a wood shear wall design example this week.

The example is fairly basic but includes an individual full-height and perforated shear wall analysis for the same condition. The design is based on wind loading and SPF framing, both common in the Midwest/Northeast, and is based on the provisions and terms listed in the 2008 Special Design Provisions for Wind and Seismic (SDPWS), available for free download here, along with the recently posted 2015 version.

6. Select holdowns for the tensions loads and verify post sizes are sufficient. For higher aspect ratio shear walls, the post size and holdown type may significantly reduce the moment arm between center of tension and center of compression, resulting in higher tension and compression forces. 2ff7e9595c
